A Shocking Twist! Samsung Focus Was Supposed to be Updated on Monday

Remember that rumored update for the Samsung Focus that was supposed to be released Monday? Well do you also remember that it never actually happened? Well apparently it was supposed to!

WPCentral has just discovered from a Microsoft Support thread that, yes, the Focus actually was supposed to be updated beginning on Monday, March 7th. Microsoft Support moderator "IlariaC" responded to an open thread about the failure-to-launch NoDo update with this:

You are right, the NoDo update was suppose to be released on March 7th, but it has been postponed. We don't know a date yet, but Microsoft will push the update soon.

Now no one can say with 100% confidence that IlariaC is a source who would know inside information like this, but since they are a part of Microsoft Support it is entirely possible they were aware of NoDo's original release schedule. The more interesting thing to note is that still no one knows why the update was delayed and apparently the update was at one point scheduled for March 7th internally.

All we know for certain right now is that NoDo is coming eventually and most likely before the end of this month. Besides that, it's anybody's guess as to when Microsoft will finally make an official announcement about it.
