Microsoft Updates “Where’s My Update?” for United States, AT&T Teases Release Date

As mentioned previously, Microsoft set up a page on the official Windows Phone site called Where’s My Update? which includes a table that breaks down devices by region, carrier, and hardware and shows exactly what’s going on with your promised February & March update.

The table was just updated today and as you can see above it is already reflecting T-Mobile’s NoDo rollout for both the HD7 and now the Dell Venue Pro. But another interesting change occurred, this time with the AT&T Surround, Quantum, and Focus. The previous “Testing” status now has two asterisks beside it and down below the chart those are translated into this:

Most interesting indeed. It seems AT&T has caught wind of the recent complaints and has decided to douse the flames by mentioning a time frame. Good move on their part, but as we’ve seen before with Windows Phone updates, the promise of ‘early’ isn’t always accurate.
