We recently reviewed the game Spectra here on WPD, calling it "a tricky game that hooks you in and doesn't let go". The game won a Great! rating from us for its challenging gameplay and strong replay value. There was only one thing holding Spectra back from greatness: it was ugly as sin.
Luckily Andrew Bunn, creator of the game, heard our prayers and decided to slap on a fresh new coat of paint with the recently released update to version 1.1. Trust us, it makes a huge difference. Spectra probably won't be the next The Harvest in terms of graphics, but making it less cringe-worthy than it was before is certainly worth noting.
Not much else has changed besides the graphics; Spectra is still a one-of-a-kind puzzle platformer. Couple the innovative gameplay with leaderboards and you'll be coming back for more and more. Check out Spectra in the Marketplace by clicking on the tile below.
