New and simpler instructions to force the NoDo update for your phone regardless of region or carrier--this has been confirmed to work on ALL devices. XDA Developers poster Noticed created a thread detailing how it's done, and here are the steps.
1. Start ZuneFor those familiar with the previous forcing procedure, this is almost identical except you don't have to do any annoying VPN tunneling or crazy accurate timing. So if you're fed up with waiting for your prescribed fix of NoDo, follow these steps and good luck!
2. Turn off Data connection and Wifi on the Phone
3. Connect the Phone with the PC (USB)
4. Start the update search in Zune
5. About 3 seconds later, disconnect your PC from the internet (Turn WLAN off).
6. Zune finds NoDo-Update. Press OK.
7. Connect to the internet again and install the update.
