MIX '11 Keynote: Ringtones, IE9, App Searching and More Shown Off

The bulk of today's announcements from the MIX'11 Developers Conference in Las Vegas were mostly for developers and hinted at beefed-up apps coming in the near future...but that doesn't mean features that users were expecting to see were overlooked!

WMPoweruser pointed us towards some pics taken by Long Zheng of the Mango update that displayed some much-requested features like custom ringtones (above), multiple Live Tiles per app, Internet Explorer 9 Mobile, a slightly-tweaked video player, larger media playback controls, a refreshed Games Hub, new app searching features, and redesigned Marketplace searching (with podcasts!).
