This morning AT&T announced yet another new Windows Phone to be added to its lineup: the HTC HD7S. Sound familiar? Yes, this is an HTC HD7 very similar to the one found on T-Mobile but there are two key differences. For one, the HD7S ditches the critically panned display of the original and substitutes it for a Super LCD display which should be able to match up to the Focus' Super AMOLED screen quite nicely. Another difference is that the smartphone will come preloaded with NoDo which means this one probably won't be coming to market until at least after this month.
Besides those new changes, the HD7S follows the original's Chassis 1 requirements pretty faithfully: 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon chipset with the Adreno 200 GPU, 4.3" 800x480 resolution display and a 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording. No release date has been set yet, but let's hope it's sooner rather than later.
